Hello Sunday Morning Access

The Adelaide PHN has commissioned 10 000 free-to-consumer 12 month licenses to Daybreak: Hello Sunday Morning's smartphone App.

The Daybreak App supports consumers to reduce their alcohol intake and assists them to manager their relationship with alcohol before it becomes a serious issue. Daybreak does this through psycho-education, motivational interviewing, and peer support. Daybreak allows consumers to set their own goals and cut down their alcohol intake at their own pace. 

In March 2017, we distributed promotional materials to Adelaide metro general practices including a:

  • referral pad which you can provide to individuals who you feel will benefit from the program. Each referral pad lists a free access code that individuals can use to access the Daybreak program free of charge for 12 months.
  • practice information letter (click here to download)

Existing consumers of  Daybreak have been notified that free access can be made available by talking to their local GP. These users may bring in a letter for their GP regarding access to Daybreak.

Please note, we support the need to screen for alcohol dependence before suggesting significant changes to drinking.
