The Australian Government has recently commenced the COVID-19 vaccine roll-out across Australia. SA Health and the Commonwealth Australian Government Department of Health are working closely to develop an implementation plan for SA in line with the vaccine roadmap announced by the Federal Government.
Adelaide PHN continues to play a key role in the South Australian response to COVID-19 and will be actively supporting both phase 1a and phase 1b of the COVID-19 vaccine roll-out in residential aged care facilities, eligible general practices and GP-led Respiratory Clinics. You can find out more about our role below.
The Department of Health has developed the Vaccine Eligibility Checker - an online tool to assist people in understanding the phase COVID-19 vaccine roll-out.
You can find a COVID-19 vaccination clinic and see if you're eligible by completing the Vaccine Eligibility Checker linked below or following this 'quick guide'.
Note - as well as providing dedicated COVID-19 testing services, our four GP-led Respiratory Clinics are also now taking COVID-19 vaccine appointments. Bookings can be made via the Eligibility Checker or online or over the phone by visiting this link.
Adelaide PHN continues to support phase 1a and phase 1b of the COVID-19 vaccine rollout to eligible RACFs, general practices and Respiratory Clinics across metropolitan Adelaide.
See below as our CEO, Deb Lee, talks to our support in the vaccine roll-out and attends the North Eastern Respiratory Clinic and Blair Athol Medical Centre as they commence their phase 1b COVID-19 vaccines.
Adelaide PHN has a dedicated COVID-19 team that can assist our eligible practices and RACFs if they have any questions relating to the roll-out. Please email covid19@adelaidephn.com.au or call 8314 3698.
