2020/21 Peer Support Network Grants | All Primary Health Care Providers


These grants offer the chance for individuals and organisations working in primary health care to receive funding to support the running of their local peer network. The funding aims to support network coordination and other nominal costs such as catering.

FULLY SUBSIDISED PLACES FOR APNA CONTEMPORARY CHRONIC DISEASE MANAGEMENT WORKSHOPS (2017) | Primary Care Nurses


Adelaide PHN provided 30 fully subsidised places for local nurses to attend this professional development workshop focussing on issues relating to Chronic Disease Management. The two day conference covered topics including care coordination, assessing and changing health behaviours, wound care on a primary care budget, asthma, COPD, respiratory conditions and asthma.

SPONSORED PLACE AVAILABLE FOR 5TH AUSTRALIAN POSTVENTION CONFERENCE (MAR 2017) | Mental Health Project Workers


Early March 2017, Adelaide PHN sponsored 1 project worker from Anglicare SA’s Living Beyond Suicide program to attend the 5th Australian Postvention Conference in Sydney.

In partnership with APNA (Australian Primary Health Care Nurses Association), Adelaide PHN provided 3 local nurses fully sponsored registerations to the May 2018 APNA National Conference. held in Brisbane the conference is a opportunity to gain valuable professionals development, update knowledge, access new resources and network with peers from across the Australia.
