CFA 88

On 4 June, Adelaide PHN CEO Michelle McKay was a panellist at the launch of Flinders University’s inaugural Wicked Problems Report.

The event explored the findings of the report, a national study informed by over 30,000 voices and focused on the urgent societal challenges facing Australia today.

The report found that people across Australia share many of the same concerns, but there are some interesting differences depending on who they are and where they live.

The event featured meaningful discussion around critical issues like cost-of-living pressures, housing, healthcare, safety, and the environment, with a particular focus on South Australia and Greater Adelaide.

Michelle was joined on the panel by keynote presenter, Professor Raymond Chan, Acting Vice Chancellor and Deputy Vice-Chancellor (Research), Flinders University, Department for Housing and Urban Development CEO David Reynolds, and Foodbank SA & NT CEO Greg Pattinson.

The Wicked Problems Report aims to inform policy making, foster cross-sector collaboration, and drive real-world solutions for a more inclusive and resilient Adelaide.
