Adelaide PHN Celebrates NAIDOC Week
Adelaide PHN was honoured to be a sponsor for this year's NAIDOC SA Community Awards at Adelaide Town Hall on 7 July.
Staff were in attendance for the event, which celebrates the achievements and contributions of Aboriginal and Torres Strait Islander people in South Australia.
This year's NAIDOC Week theme was 'The Next Generation: Strength, Vision & Legacy', acknowledging the achievements of the past while also looking ahead to a bright future.
The annual celebration also marked another milestone, with 50 years of honouring and elevating Indigenous voices, culture, and resilience.
The 2025 NAIDOC SA Community Award winners were:
- Landon Khan - Dr Alice Rigney Award
- Alfred Lowe - LGBTQI Person of the Year
- Marius Liddle - Scholar of the Year
- Ebony Noak - Young Person of the Year
- Kashiah Dixon-Miller - Sportsperson of the Year
- Cleena Sansbury - Creative Artist oft he Year
- Uncle Malcolm Gollan - Lifetime Achievement
- Wanda Miller - Female Elder of the Year
- Clinton 'Stano' Dadleh - 2025 Person of the Year
- David Miller - Male Elder of the Year

NAIDOC SA March
Staff also joined thousands of others at the NAIDOC SA March on 11 July, starting from Tarntanyangga (Victoria Square) and marching down King William Street to Parliament House.
This year’s NAIDOC Week theme was ‘The Next Generation: Strength, Vision & Legacy’, and the march acknowledges and celebrates a powerful milestone – 50 years of honouring and elevating Indigenous voices, culture, and resilience.
Following the march, the NAIDOC Family Festival began in Tartanyangga, featuring organisation stalls, live entertainment and music, children’s activities, amusement rides, food trucks and a barbecue.
