Adelaide PHN Named Inclusive Employer for Third Consecutive Year
Adelaide PHN is proud to announce we have once again been named among Diversity Council Australia's (DCA) 2025-2026 Inclusive Employers.
Recognised for the third consecutive year, this acknowledgement highlights our commitment to creating a diverse and inclusive workplace where all employees feel valued and supported.
The recognition follows our participation in the DCA and Diversity Atlas run Inclusive Employer Index, an in-depth workplace survey that measures employee diversity and inclusion experiences, which enabled us to evaluate the current state of inclusion in our workforce and compare it to the Australian workforce and DCA member benchmarks.
At Adelaide PHN, we believe that true organisational success comes from creating the right conditions for our staff so they can succeed by focusing on what really matters.
Through Stepping 4ward, our culture change initiative, we aim to support all staff to work together in healthier and more effective ways in a spirit of mutual support and collective achievement. Through this program, we are embedding a culture of collective achievement throughout the organisation, so that our people understand how their work contributes to our outcomes.
At the heart of Stepping 4ward are our four signature behaviours:
- Work, achieve and celebrate together
- We use our people and resources wisely
- We are consistently transparent and timely
- Do what we say we will do
Adelaide PHN CEO Michelle McKay expressed her delight for the organisation's recognition as an Inclusive Employer for another year.
"This achievement reflects our deep and ongoing commitment to creating a workplace where every individual feels welcomed, valued and supported to thrive," she said.
"Each year, we participate in the Inclusion at Work Index to meaningfully track our progress and ensure we are continuing to strengthen our culture of inclusivity through our four signature behaviours.
"This recognition is a testament to the dedication of our staff and the effort we make to champion inclusivity in everything we do, which reinforces our workplace culture and enhances our ability to better serve our community."
Research by DCA shows that workplace inclusion has measurable benefits for organisations and the communities they serve, creating a better work environment that boosts employee wellbeing, fuels performance and minimises risk.
Adelaide PHN's focus through Stepping 4ward is two-fold – we want to support our culture and wellbeing while also improving performance across the whole organisation.
