Adelaide PHN is proud to support the launch of Florence — a new, free app designed specifically for nurses to manage their professional development, set meaningful goals, and grow their careers.

Created by the Australian Primary Health Care Nurses Association (APNA), Florence simplifies how nurses capture CPD, discover relevant learning, and connect with new opportunities — all in one place.

As a launch partner, nurses in the Adelaide PHN region will have early access to Florence before it is released to the broader nursing workforce.

What Florence Offers:

  • CPD recommendations tailored to your practice area and goals
  • Easy, Ahpra-compliant tracking of all learning (formal and informal)
  • Career goal setting and progress monitoring
  • Visibility of your expertise and benchmarking against peers
  • Opportunities for career growth, including mentoring, research and employment

Florence is backed by the APNA Career and Education Frameworks and built with direct input from nurses around the country.

Why It Matters in Adelaide

Florence will give local nurses a much-needed platform to support their learning and career growth — helping improve retention, strengthen recognition and make nurses’ contributions more visible across the system.
