Adelaide Pride March: A Celebration of Unity and Love

Adelaide PHN was proud to participate in the 2024 Pride March, a vibrant celebration of unity, visibility, and love, coordinated by Pride Adelaide. The annual event brought together thousands of participants and spectators to celebrate the LGBTQIA+ community, highlighting the city’s commitment to diversity and inclusion.

The 2024 Pride March was more than just a parade, it served as a powerful statement of solidarity and a celebration of the progress made towards equality and acceptance. It provided an opportunity to show support for the LGBTQIA+ community and contribute to building a more inclusive society . Adelaide PHN stood together with others at the Pride March  to amplify voices, honour achievements, and continue working toward equality.

Adelaide PHN Rainbow Working Group member, Brendan McGarry expressed his delight about Adelaide PHN once again attending the Pride March. “It was fantastic to gather with fellow Rainbow Working Group members and allies in recognition and honour  the 1 courageous trailblazers who in 1973 paved the way for  the vibrant and inclusive community we are today.”

At Adelaide PHN, we are committed to fostering an inclusive environment where everyone, regardless of sexual orientation or gender identity, is supported with pride. Our participation in the Pride March reflected our dedication to creating spaces where people can live, work, and be their authentic selves without fear of discrimination.
