Allied Health Workshop Shapes Future Strategy

 To assist with the development of an Allied Health Strategy for Adelaide PHN, we recently hosted an Allied Health Discovery Workshop with representatives of the allied health peak bodies and allied health providers from across our region and members of our Clinical Council.

The current remit and work of Adelaide PHN was outlined, including examples where allied health providers are already engaged in our funded programs.

Some co-design activities were then utilised to stimulate and capture some discussion relating to the current enablers and barriers to allied health providing quality and coordinated primary care, and what could support them in the future.

Feedback from the workshop was really positive, with attendees appreciating the opportunity to network with other allied health professions and provide their thoughts about the Allied Health Strategy development.
