Australian primary healthcare practitioner survey on IUD insertion Assessment and Management of Pain (IUD-AMP)

Have Your Say: Pain Management Practices for IUD Insertion

The SPHERE Centre of Research Excellence (CRE) at Monash University is conducting a national study to better understand current practices and support needs of Australian primary healthcare practitioners in assessing and managing pain during intra‑uterine device (IUD) insertion.

Who can participate?

All healthcare practitioners working in primary healthcare who provide IUD insertion services, including GPs, nurse practitioners, midwives, and other AHPRA-registered practitioners.

Why your input matters?

Your insights will help inform the development of evidence‑based training and resources to better support primary healthcare practitioners, and women seeking contraception counselling and IUD insertion services
