Bipolar Disorder Services Research Invitation
Psychosocial services can help people living with bipolar disorder to improve their overall health and wellbeing, however, we know little about how these forms of care are currently being offered and accessed in Australia.
To help us develop psychosocial services that are helpful, accessible, and appropriate, we’d like to better understand how people with bipolar disorder access and experience these types of care. We would also like to know their perspectives on how services could be improved. We are asking adults living with bipolar disorder to complete a brief, anonymous, online survey (30-45 minutes), as well as an optional interview (up to one hour).
We would like to request your help to share this research project via your organisation’s webpage, social media, newsletter, blog, networks, and/or other relevant member contact methods.
The project is being led by Dr. Emma Morton, Dr. Sue Cotton, and Dr. Mel Hasty, and was designed in collaboration with a Lived Experience Advisory Panel and representatives from Bipolar Life Victoria. The project has been approved by the Monash University Human Research Ethics Committee (HREC: 44707).
