Building Expertise in Eating Disorder Care

RCRP training

Adelaide PHN and the Right Care Right Place team welcomed a group of clinicians from across our region for Cognitive Behavioural Therapy-Ten for Eating Disorders (CBT-T) training in September, facilitated by Professor Tracey Wade.

The training aims to build confidence and capability in delivering evidence-based eating disorder care.

It is an important step in strengthening the capacity of our local workforce to support people experiencing eating disorders.

By building clinicians' confidence, therapeutic skills and evidence-based practice knowledge, it helps work towards better access to care and improved outcomes for individuals and families affected by eating disorders.

Professor Wade's expert insights, combined with the dedication of participating clinicians, are helping to strengthen the support available to people living with eating disorders.
