Celebrating 20 Years of headspace at National Forum

Headpsace forum

Members of our Mental Health team attended the headspace Forum in Brisbane from June 16 to 18, bringing together sector partners to reflect on two decades of impact and continued growth in youth mental health.

Themed 'Growing Together' and with a particular focus on celebrating 20 years of headspace, the forum highlighted a strong commitment to supporting vulnerable populations, including First Nations young people and young men, and reinforced the importance of inclusive and accessible care.

The event featured addresses from the Hon. Mark Butler MP, Minister for Health and Aged Care, and Assistant Minister Emma McBridge, underscoring the national significance of the youth mental health sector and its ongoing policy priority.

The 'Growing Together' theme was symbolised through seed planting, representing the nurturing of ideas, partnerships, and systems that will continue to grow and strengthen over time.

Adelaide headspace services were recognised with a Showcase Award, while the forum also provided a valuable opportunity to connect with peers across the sector and other PHNs to exchange insights and strengthen partnerships.
