COVID-19 Vaccination in Community Pharmacy

The COVID-19 Vaccination in Community Pharmacy (CVCP) Program will cease on 1 October 2026. From this date, COVID-19 vaccinations will be funded under the National Immunisation Program (NIP), with participating pharmacies required to submit claims through the National Immunisation Program Vaccination in Pharmacy (NIPVIP) Program.

This transition will introduce several changes, including updates to claiming arrangements, patient eligibility criteria, and vaccine ordering processes. Further information about these changes is available via the Pharmacy Programs Administrator website - here.
