Expressions of Interest Open for Board Directors

The Adelaide PHN Board is comprised of three Member-elected Directors and up to six Board-appointed Directors, each elected for a three-year term via a staggered, rotational election system. As a result of this tenure process, expressions of interest are now being sought for two positions, meeting the following essential criteria - 

General Practitioner (GP) Director 

• Must be a GP, practicing in the southern metropolitan region 

Non-GP Director 

• Exemplary financial performance experience and understanding 

For both positions  

• Sound skills in strategy, risk and compliance oversight, corporate governance, digital health, IT/IM strategy and governance, executive management and relevant business experience 
• A well-developed understanding of the benefits of collaboration and integration with primary health care 

Shortlisted applicants will be reviewed by our nomination’s subcommittee, with the successful candidates being ratified by our Board and Membership at our Annual General Meeting in October 2021. 

The positions will attract remuneration in recognition of the Director’s time and expertise.
