Grant opportunity- Right Care Right Place: Eating Disorder Care in my Community project

Adelaide PHN is pleased to announce a workforce development grant opportunity to strengthen eating disorder care through the Right Care Right Place: Eating Disorder Care in my Community project. Adelaide PHN is offering 20 workforce development grants to support healthcare professionals in the Adelaide PHN region in obtaining their ANZAED Eating Disorder Credential:

• 10 grants for dietitians (open competitive process for any eligible dietitian practicing in the Adelaide PHN region)
• 10 grants for mental health professionals (for those employed by or contracted to a Commissioned Service Provider)

Despite an estimated 50,000 people in the Adelaide PHN region living with an eating disorder, only around 25% access treatment. These grants will help address this critical gap by increasing access to credentialed health professionals who can provide safe, effective eating disorder care. The ANZAED Eating Disorder Credential formally recognises the qualifications, knowledge, and training required for clinicians to meet minimum standards for delivering quality eating disorder care. 

Successful applicants will receive: 

Dietitians (open competitive process):

• Inside Out Institute's Combined Introduction to Eating Disorders for Health Professionals & Evidence-Informed Dietetic Practice for Eating Disorders training
• ANZAED Eating Disorder Credential application and first-year annual fee
• 3 x 1 hour group supervision sessions with an Accredited Practicing Dietitian and Credentialed Eating Disorder Clinician

Mental Health Professionals (closed competitive process for CSPs):

• ANZAED Eating Disorder Credential application and first-year annual fee

Priority will be given to applicants providing or willing to provide accessible and equitable services.

• Notification of Outcome: 13 October 2025
