Harmony Week at Adelaide PHN
Adelaide PHN will continue to work, achieve and celebrate together, to acknowledge the myriad of cultures present in our workplace. To celebrate Harmony Week the Multicultural Working Group organised a cultural quiz that allowed staff to test their knowledge on the many cultures of the world. Following the quiz a food festival (shared lunch) was hosted to showcase the diversity of cultures within the Adelaide PHN office. Staff brought in dishes from either their cultural background, a country they have visited or a meal that has a special meaning to them.
Orange is the colour chosen to represent Harmony Week. Traditionally, orange signifies social communication and meaningful conversations. It also relates to the freedom of ideas and encouragement of mutual respect. Adelaide PHN staff wore orange loud and proud to show their support for Harmony Week and cultural diversity.
Harmony Week was a great a success throughout Adelaie PHN and we would like to thank all staff for getting involved and showing their support.
