headspace at Twelve25

headspace Edinburgh North has partnered with the City of Salisbury to deliver free youth mental health services at the Twelve25 Youth Centre, supporting young people aged 12–25 who live in the Salisbury area.

This initiative forms part of the City of Salisbury’s Youth Action Plan 2024–2027 and aims to make it easier for young people to access early mental health support in a welcoming and familiar setting.

About the service:

·       Free, confidential mental health support provided by a qualified headspace worker.

·       Available four days per week at Twelve25 Youth Centre (17–19 Wiltshire Street, Salisbury).

·       No GP referral or Mental Health Treatment Plan required.

·       Up to four sessions available, with referrals to further services if needed.

Accessing the service:

Referrals can be made via the headspace Edinburgh North online referral form by the young person themselves, a parent/caregiver, or another service provider, or by contacting headspace Edinburgh North directly.

We encourage you to promote this service to young people and families in your care who may benefit from timely mental health support in a community-based location.

GPs and health professionals are encouraged to send referrals to the Medicare Mental Health Phone Service via HealthLink (EDI: adphncru), or Fax: (08) 8121 1802. A Mental Health Treatment Plan is not required to access our service. However, if available, including it with the referral can be helpful.

Please note that this is not a crisis service. For urgent mental health support, contact emergency services or a dedicated crisis line.
