Health Equity Awards Nominations Open

Nominations are now open for Adelaide PHN’s 2025 Health Equity Awards.

The Health Equity Awards honour the exceptional primary health care providers in our region who are paving the way for a healthier and more equitable healthcare system.

The awards are open to all Adelaide PHN commissioned service providers, partners and general practices, or part of our Advisory Councils’ activities.

Last year’s awards were another resounding success, recognising five exceptional organisations for their dedicated work in providing equitable and accessible healthcare.

Thorne Harbour Health was celebrated for their vital services to the LGBTQIA+ community and individuals living with HIV, while Adelaide City General Practice also received an award for their commitment to primary care for vulnerable communities.

The other 2024 winners include The Lived Experience Leadership & Advocacy Network for their implementation of the Alternatives to Suicide Program, Lives Lived Well for their delivery of the Northern Adelaide Children & Family Mental Health Service, and UniSA City West Health and Medical Clinic for providing specialised care for transgender and gender-diverse community members.

Five engaging videos were created to showcase the work of the winners, and WatchPost will once again be on hand to film new content for this year’s winners.

Nominations are open until 24 May, with this year’s awards to be held on Saturday, 23 August at The Playford, MGallery. Nominations can be submitted through our submissions page.
