HealthPathways SA Influenza pathways

HealthPathways SA is thrilled to launch the 2025 review of its Influenza Immunisation and Influenza pathways, designed to offer user-friendly evidence-based recommendations and resources all in one place.
In 2024, South Australia's flu vaccine uptake was above the national average and the highest of any mainland state so the pathway helps ensure practices and staff are 'flu season' ready so we can protect the health and wellbeing of our community.
The Influenza Immunisation pathway includes the latest guidance from WHO and ATAGI on the equivalent efficacy and safety between trivalent and quadrivalent vaccines, co-administration recommendations, vaccine hesitancy resources and new authority for pharmacist to immunise the general population.
The influenza clinical pathway describes influenza mimics, recommended treatments and indications for antiviral medications including post exposure prophylaxis.
Ensure your knowledge is current by registering for a HealthPathways SA account today.
For World Immunisation Week from 24-30 April, HealthPathways SA is urging the community to promote the lifesaving power of immunisation to safeguard people of all ages against vaccine-preventable diseases.
HealthPathways SA is a partnership between Adelaide PHN, SA Health and Country SA PHN.
