Help improve mental health and wellbeing outcomes for First Nation communities – by taking the statewide survey
SA Health in partnership with the Breakthrough Mental Health Foundation has commissioned the South Australian Health and Medical Research Institute (SAHMRI) to develop a statewide Social and Emotional Wellbeing and Mental Health Service Provider Survey.
This statewide needs analysis survey has been approved by the Aboriginal Human Research Ethics Committee (AHREC) and the South Australian Department for Health and Wellbeing (DHW) Human Research Ethics Committee.
The aim is to understand the range of social and emotional wellbeing (SEWB) and mental health services provided to Aboriginal and Torres Strait Islander peoples in South Australia, across the private and public sectors.
Do you provide these services to First Nation communities? If so, you are encouraged to take the survey to highlight your local community and sector needs, aspirations and priorities.
Your insight and expertise will help develop a South Australian wellbeing roadmap to support further research, improved policy, and better interconnected health services for First Nation communities.

The survey will take 30 minutes to complete and closes on 28 February 2025.
