Influenza Immunisation Program 2024

Help stop the spread of Influenza by encouraging all patients to get vaccinated.
Remind higher risk patients that they are eligible for a free flu vaccination:

• pregnant people
• people 6 months of age or older with underlying chronic medical conditions
• Aboriginal and Torres Strait Islander people 6 months and older
• all children 6 months to less than 5 years of age
• people aged 65 years and older
• people experiencing homelessness.

The best time to vaccinate people against the flu is Autumn so they have protection during the season peak, typically from June to September.
