Integration of Clinical Decision Support Systems in Cardiovascular Care: A Qualitative Study is looking to recruit General Practitioners, Practice Nurses, Community Pharmacists and Cardiologists.
Description of the Study
You are invited to participate in a research project entitled Integration of Clinical Decision Support Systems in Cardiovascular Care: A Qualitative Study. The student is conducting this project, Samah Sallam, as part of her PhD study at Flinders University under the supervision of Dr. Madhan Balasubramanian (Principal Supervisor) and co-supervision of Mr Mark Brommeyer (Adjunct Supervisor). All researchers are based at Flinders University.
Purpose of the study
The aim is to investigate the perceptions and attitudes of academics, policymakers, IT personnel, general practitioners, nurses, and cardiovascular specialists in Australia towards the implementation of CDSS in cardiovascular care.
Benefits of the study?
We will explore healthcare needs, understand healthcare providers' behaviour, and provide guidelines to improve CDSS implementation. Participation in this research is voluntary. If you do consent to participate, you will be required to have a 45-60-minute interview with the student researcher, Samah Sallam. The interviews will be conducted through MS Teams meetings; you will have to have access to a computer device, whether desktop, laptop, mobile, or tablet, with an Internet connection or by telephone. You are free to stop participating at any stage or to refuse to answer any questions.
