Introducing the Aged Care On-Site Pharmacist (ACOP) Measure
Adelaide PHN is pleased to announce its support for the new Aged Care On-Site Pharmacist (ACOP) Measure, a new Australian Government initiative designed to improve medication safety and quality of care in Residential Aged Care Homes.
Developed by the Department of Health, Aged Care and Disability (DHAD), ACOP responds to key recommendations from the Royal Commission into Aged Care Quality and Safety.
Working in an advanced and flexible professional role, ACOPs enjoy the stability of regular employment and income while making a real impact where it matters most.
Why It Matters for Residential Aged Care Homes?
