New Course Helping Primary Care Professionals Spot Sepsis
Sepsis is a serious medical condition that causes of 8,700 deaths in Australia each year and remains difficult to recognise in primary care.
To support early recognition and response, the Australian Commission on Safety and Quality in Health Care, in partnership with The George Institute, Sepsis Australia and Medcast, has developed a free, CPD-approved, one-hour online course for primary health professionals.
The course includes case studies and downloadable clinical resources to help with recognising and responding to sepsis and post-sepsis syndrome.
