New My Health Record eLearning available

Two new free eLearning courses on My Health Record are now available to support allied health and aged care staff, as well as students on placement, with practical skills in using shared health records to improve care continuity.

  • Digital Health in Healthcare: Understanding My Health Record (for VET/TAFE students in allied health and health administration)
  • Supporting Quality Aged Care with My Health Record (for the aged care workforce)

A consortium including La Trobe University, La Trobe College, Obvious Choice, TAFE NSW and other stakeholders co‑designed and piloted the programs, highlighting the value of cross‑sector collaboration. The courses are also part of the National Digital Health Capability Action Plan (CAP), building workforce digital skills now and into the future.
