New Partnership to Strengthen Cultural Literacy
Last month, we launched our partnership with Nik&Co. Consultancy, an initiative which aims to strengthen cultural literacy across our organisation.
Through this collaboration, Adelaide PHN staff now have access to the Nik&Co. E-Learning Hub, which powers Australia's first Cultural Literacy Infrastructure through 24 accessible, 30-minute micro-courses designed to build foundational knowledge, support consistent learning standards, guide ethical action, and measure meaningful growth.
On 4 June, we were honoured to hear from Nicole Gollan, Founder and CEO of Nik&Co. Consultancy. A proud Ngarrindjeri woman, Nicole brings a background in education and extensive experience supporting reconciliation, cultural learning, and organisational change across a range of sectors.
Nicole shared her personal journey and the vision behind Nik&Co., highlighting the importance of education as a catalyst for understanding, reflection, and meaningful action.
The interactive micro-courses are designed to be practical, accessible and impactful. They aim to strengthen foundational understanding of Aboriginal and Torres Strait Islander histories, cultures, perspectives and contemporary experiences, while also supporting consistent cultural literacy standards, national benchmarking, and measurable growth.
The courses encourage reflection, challenge misconceptions and support meaningful engagement through extensive resource lists.
