Pharmacists in RACHs: Increased payment for ACOP 

From 1 July 2026, the payment amount for the Aged Care On-Site Pharmacist (ACOP) measure will increase, in line with annual indexation at the start of each financial year.

For ACOP activities undertaken from this date, the annual payment for a full-time equivalent (FTE) ACOP will increase from $141,323.52 to $145,277.04, excluding GST.

This updated payment amount applies only to work undertaken from 1 July 2026. Claims submitted through the PPA Portal in July for June activities will continue to be paid at the 2025–26 payment amount.

Pharmacy Programs Administrator (PPA): Updated Terms & Conditions: 

The PPA General Terms have been updated, and the Department will now be included as part of the agreement. If you manage a Service Provider account or submit claims as an individual, please read the updated terms.
