Practice Nurses Come Together for Community Evenings
Practice nurses from the NALHN and SALHN regions recently came together for Adelaide PHN's Practice Nurse Community Evenings.
These events provided a valuable opportunity for nurses to connect, share experiences and strengthen professional networks, while building their clinical knowledge in a supportive environment.
Attendees heard about the important role of the Care Finder program in supporting vulnerable community members to navigate and access the health services they need.
The evenings also featured an engaging education session from Daniela Nash on diabetes management, providing practical insights that nurses can apply in their day-to-day practice.
These events highlight the important role that collaboration and knowledge sharing play in strengthening primary care.
By bringing practice nurses together to learn and support one another, we can continue to provide better health outcomes for our communities.
We are looking forward to new conversations at our CALHN Practice Nurse Community Evening in November. Invitations will be sent out soon, but practices are also welcome to contact the Adelaide PHN Practice Support team to register their interest – PracticeSupport@adelaidephn.com.au
