Putting People at the Centre of Pain Care: APS 2026 Comes to Adelaide

Adelaide will host the 46th Annual Scientific Meeting of the Australian Pain Society (APS 2026), running from 19–22 April 2026 at the Adelaide Convention Centre, APS 2026 brings together clinicians, researchers, allied health professionals and advocates to advance understanding and care for people living with pain.

Aligned with the IASP Global Year about Neuropathic Pain, the meeting reflects growing recognition that pain is complex, multidimensional and deeply personal. Alongside its extensive scientific program, APS 2026 places a strong emphasis on translating contemporary pain science into real‑world practice — including directly engaging with consumers.

A Global Conversation in Pain Science

APS 2026 features an international and national faculty highlighting why Australia is regarded as a leader in pain research and management. The four‑day program includes pre‑conference workshops, plenary lectures, symposia and presentations spanning basic science, clinical research and practical implementation in healthcare settings.
