Staff then participated in a two-part Kaurna language workshop, led by proud and Kaurna and Narungga Man Jack Kanya Kudnuitya Buckskin.
The session involved a basic introduction to Kaurna language, learning its sound system and common expressions, while staff also learned how to give an Acknolwedgement of Country in Kaurna language.
All staff who participated in the training embraced the experience, stepping out of their comfort zone to engage in the sessions and connect with the language.
