Strengthening Understanding Through Anti-Racism Training
Last month, our staff completed Reconciliation South Australia's Anti-Racism Kuru Wiya/Kuru Palya program, embracing meaningful learning and reflection.
The program is designed to encourage behaviour change through understanding. Over two workshops, our staff embraced challenging conversations on topics like racism, trauma, colonial impact, bias and then strategies to support bystanders, victims, perpetrators and leaders.
The team showed a commitment to personal growth and creating a safer and more inclusive workplace, taking important steps towards driving positive change in our communities.
Adelaide PHN remains committed to our reconciliation journey which formally began in 2019 with the development of our inaugural Innovate Reconciliation Action Plan (RAP) 2020-2022.
With the launch of our third Innovate RAP 2026-2028 earlier this year, we continue that journey by providing a structured approach to advancing reconciliation within our business, through the communities we work with and the programs we commission.
