Survey- research for nicotine addiction

Attention all Australian based General Practitioners, Nurse Practitioners and Pharmacists!

The University of Tasmania Menzies Institute for Medical Research are conducting a survey and/or an interview for research for Australians wanting to quit nicotine addiction. 

They would value your perspectives and experience regarding health professional support for Australians wanting to quit nicotine addiction from tobacco smoking or vaping.

The study aims to gather insights that will:

  • improve understanding about current nicotine addiction/dependence cessation support provided by General Practitioners, Nurse Practitioners and Pharmacists, and challenges faced providing this support
  • inform development of targeted support and resources for healthcare professionals working in this space.
