Upcoming Consultations: Adelaide PHN Alcohol and Other Drug (AOD) Treatment Services

Adelaide PHN AOD Treatment and Quality Framework

Adelaide PHN is currently redesigning how AOD treatment services will be commissioned and implemented across the primary health care sector. Our key aim is to support and build capacity of AOD treatment services to be efficient, effective that address gaps where most appropriate, directed at the areas of greatest need.

We invite all key stakeholder from the local AOD treatment services sector to attend an online forum to hear more about the proposed treatment and quality framework and garner your feedback.

Aboriginal and Torres Strait Islander AOD Treatment Services Consultations

Adelaide PHN continues to work with the local Aboriginal and Torres Strait Islander communities to ensure we have a good understanding of local Aboriginal and Torres Strait Islander needs.

We know that local Aboriginal and Torres Strait Islander communities experience more harm from substance use issues. Adelaide PHN is committed to service designs that reflect dedicated funding, Aboriginal community ownership of solutions, with a mixture of Aboriginal community-controlled and culturally safe, appropriate mainstream services.

During these sessions, we will be speaking about our approach to Aboriginal AOD Treatment Service planning, asking questions about the above and launching an online survey where you can give us important information about services.
