A qualitative study on Experiences and challenges in Cancer care.

Do you identify as an older adult affected by cancer, a caregiver, General Practitioner or Practice Nurse?

We invite you to take part in a national study led by Flinders University. We want to learn about your experiences and challenges with cancer care.

Why is this study important?
Many older Australians are diagnosed with cancer every year, and this number is increasing. GPs and nurses play an important role in their care, from diagnosis to treatment, recovery, and end-of-life support. By sharing your story, you can help improve how care is provided in the future.

What does participation involve?
You will be invited to a one-on-one interview (by phone or online). It will take about 30 to 60 minutes.
A small gift card will be given to thank you for your participation.

Participation is entirely voluntary, confidential, and you may withdraw at any time without consequence

Who can take part?

  • Older adults (age ≥65 years) affected by any cancer and/or their caregivers
  • General Practitioners (GPs) and Practice Nurses with experience in cancer care
