Western Medicare UCC is now Royal Park Medicare Urgent Care Clinic

Residents of Adelaide’s western suburbs will notice a new name for their local urgent care service. Formerly known as Western Medicare Urgent Care Clinic (UCC), the facility is now operating as Royal Park Medicare Urgent Care Clinic, reflecting its location in Royal Park while continuing to provide the same accessible urgent care services to the community.  

Located within the Old Port Road Medical & Dental Centre at 1202-1210 Old Port Road, Royal Park SA 5014, the clinic remains focused on delivering free, government-funded treatment for non-life-threatening conditions. Patients can continue to access care without needing an appointment, helping them avoid unnecessary visits to busy emergency departments when their condition requires prompt attention but is not life-threatening. 

Open seven days a week from 7:30am to 9:30pm, the clinic offers walk-in access for patients seeking urgent medical care:

• Minor fractures and sprains
• Minor infections
• Respiratory illnesses
• Mild burns
• Gastroenteritis
• Urinary tract infections

While the name has changed from Western Medicare UCC to Royal Park Medicare Urgent Care Clinic, the clinic’s mission remains the same: providing timely, high-quality urgent care close to home, with shorter wait times and an alternative to hospital emergency departments for appropriate conditions
