Working Together to End Homelessness
Adelaide PHN's Phoebe Lawson and Deepak Dev joined sector leaders at the 2025 South Australian Zero Homelessness Summit on 23 October.
With a theme of bringing together people, practice and policy to end homelessness, the event was presented by South Australian Alliance to End Homelessness (SAAEH), in partnership with the Australian Alliance to End Homelessness (AAEH), with Adelaide PHN proud to be a major sponsor.
The summit brought together key stakeholders from across the state to advance real solutions to end homelessness.
It featured speakers from across housing, health, government and community sectors, including Centre for Equitable Housing Director Dr Kate Raynor, who discussed the housing challenges and permanent supportive housing needs in South Australia, and Simon Community Scotland CEO Lorraine McGrath, who provided insights from Glasgow's approach to ending homelessness.
Phoebe was also a presenter for one of the breakout sessions, 'Making it work: Health, housing and homelessness in action', speaking on the PHN's role in homelessness and our commissioned programs.
The event highlighted local initiatives, strengthened collaboration, and aligned advocacy efforts – all aimed at ensuring everyone in South Australia has a safe place to call home.
