HIV in Aged Care: Everyday Precautions, Everyday Respect

A short, practical webinar by ASHM for nurses working in aged and residential care, focused on everyday infection prevention habits that protect residents and staff, and support respectful, consistent care for everyone.

It will cover standard precautions for blood and body fluids, what to do after a needlestick or splash, and simple communication approaches that protect privacy and dignity. It includes a lived experience presentation highlighting what respectful care can look like in aged care settings.
