Delivered by APNA, this face-to-face workshop will include:
- Vaccination Principles: Core concepts behind immunisation, including how vaccines work, their role in disease prevention, and the importance of herd immunity.
- Cold Chain Management Techniques: Learn the essential procedures for maintaining vaccine potency, including storage, transportation, and temperature monitoring.
- National Immunisation Program: Gain insight into Australia's vaccination schedule, eligibility criteria, and government policies that support public health initiatives.
- Safe Implementation in Practical Sessions: Develop hands-on skills for administering vaccines, ensuring patient safety, and following best practices in immunisation delivery.
