All health and aged care workers and professionals plan an important role in helping people plan for the end of life. But how do you approach these tender conversations with patients and their families? There is no one-six-fits-all approach, and finding the right way to communicate can be challenging.

  • Where to get information and resources to support your ongoing learning and practice

    Kylie is a registered nurse with a MAster of Nursing. Her clinical grounding in cancer and heamatological settings has forged her passion for holistic, person-led care. In her current role, she is dedicated to delivering engaging and innovative learning experiences to care providers and the broader community
  • Dr Catherine Joyce BA(Hons), M Psych, GCHE, PhD - National Manager, Advance Care Planning Australia
    Catherine has a background in health services research and has held senior management roles in health, aged care, community services, and government. Her expertise in strategic planning and policy development makes her a leading voice in advance care planning.

The webinar will be facilitated by  Palliative Care Australia National Projects Manager Chelsea Menchin, who has over 20 years of experience in health policy and project management, contributing to national programs in primary care, chronic disease management, and mental health.
