Sports Medicine in General Practice Course

This specialised three-and-a-half-day interactive course is aimed at providing an introduction/refresher to Sports Medicine focusing on musculoskeletal examination, diagnostic and management techniques for both common and complex sports injuries.  Past attendees have included, regional GP's, doctors looking for an update, registrars, RMO's and GP's with an interest in sport and exercise.

Dr Marc Cesana (Adelaide Football Club Senior Medical Officer) is the course convener again in 2024, delivering on a range of sports medicine topics alongside a variety of highly credentialed sports medicine experts, connected to elite sport. The course will involve both case study discussions, direct observation and review, practical demonstrations and more, which will allow time for participants to practice. Our presenters are invested in growing our professional sports medicine community and ensuring this learning translates into your practice.
