The Way Back Support Service
Delivered by AnglicareSA, The Way Back Support Service has been developed by Beyond Blue and is co-funded by the Commonwealth Government and SA Health through Adelaide PHN and the Office of the Chief Psychiatrist. The service has been designed to provide free, non-clinical care and practical support for up to three months for individuals following a suicide attempt or suicidal crisis that have presented to the Royal Adelaide Hospital (RAH) or the Queen Elizabeth Hospital (TQEH).
Referral Information
The Way Back Support Service accepts referrals from the RAH and TQEH with support coordinators providing an outreach service to individuals. Presentations to hospital on weekends or after hours will be followed up via phone call during the next business day.
The service operates between 9.00am – 5.00pm Monday to Friday and can be contacted by calling 1300 077 798 or email thewayback@anglicaresa.com.au.
