Australian Bushfire Support and Response Information

Adelaide PHN acknowledges the widespread impact of recent and ongoing bushfires, including the considerable effect on the mental health and wellbeing of individuals, families, first-responders and communities across the Adelaide region.
The below information and resources are available to support both the health of those impacted and local response to the bushfires.
Community Information, Support and Resources
- Department of Human Services’ Fire Current Fire Recovery Information Pages
A one-stop-shop of collated information and advice for those directly affected by the bushfires in Cudlee Creek, Kangaroo Island, Keilira and Yorketown. The page collates information about available grants and rebates; community coordination and planning; as well as links to information and advice regarding lost property, documents and assets.
- Life in Mind’s Collated Bushfire Support and Resources Page
A webpage collating available helplines, disaster toolkits, resources and information for those affected by the bushfires. The page is expected to be updated on an ongoing basis to ensure relevance across each phase of the bushfire response and ongoing responsiveness to community need.
- SA Health’s 2019/2020 Bushfire Information and Support Page
Including information pages regarding what to do after a bushfire, bushfire smoke and your health, mental health after a disaster and food safety. Links to relevant South Australian services are also available.

Bushfire Response Announcements and Updates

17 Jan | Funding associated with the Australian Government's 'Mental Health Response to Bushfire Trauma' measure has been allocated to 12 Primary Health Networks across Australia with communities directly affected by bushfires. Adelaide PHN is not a recipient of this additional funding. In South Australia, Country SA PHN have been allocated this funding and are working with the Government to support the roll out of related services and support.
