ASHM: Sexual Health in Primary Care (Workshop 1)

This two-part workshop will provide primary care providers with the information and tools required to improve STI screening and care for at-risk and key affected populations. The workshop will also cover strategies available for the prevention of HIV transmission and highlight the importance of contact tracing and partner notification.

Learning Objectives

  • Demonstrate confidence in discussing sexual health with patients
  • Explain the importance of screening and testing for STIs and BBVs
  • Describe contact tracing and and its key role in managing STIs

Suitable for GPs, nurse practitioners, nurses and other primary care based practitioners. 
There is no cost to attend.
