The Course in Immunisation Practice in Primary Healthcare is designed to upskill students (clinicians) to perform a range of comprehensive immunisation services, and remain up to date with current vaccination programs, changes, and requirements to their scope of practice.
The course includes online theory modules and a half-day face-to-face workshop, where students will be equipped with demo doses, injection pads and dummies to practice the reconstitution and administration of vaccines, cradling techniques for infants and the development of immunisation catch-ups.
