‘Diabetes Essentials’ and ‘Diabetes Extension’ full-day courses are APNA endorsed, 6 hours CPD, including:
- latest evidence-based guidelines and recommendations for diet, lifestyle and management of diabetes.
- diabetes medication management and technology options.
- acute and chronic complications of diabetes.
- sick day management to optimise diabetes self-care.
- goals of management using the annual cycle of care.
- person-centred care and multi-disciplinary referral pathways to support clients.
Courses run in Hilton October 15 and 29 and Mount Barker October 22 and November 5.
