Emergency Update for Practice Nurses (2 July)

This course aims to refresh and acquire new and up-to-date emergency skills such as defibrillation and cardiopulmonary resuscitation (CPR).
Course outline:
- IV insertion
- Airway management including laryngeal mask
- Rhythm recognition and defibrillation
- First line emergency drug therapy for adrenaline, naloxone, atropine, amiodarone and opiate analgesia
Suitable for practice nurses.
