You've identified a respiratory illness. What is the diagnosis? Which medications do you introduce and in what order? What are the management guidelines? This workshop will cover:
- Current evidence-based management of COPD
- The asthma/COPD overlap
- Identifying other respiratory illnesses in adults
- Interpretation of spirometry test results and the correct use of inhalers and spacers
- The red flags for referral to a specialist
Participants will discuss case studies in small groups, develop action plans and practice using relevant devices.
Suitable for GPs and doctors in training.
