Provider education
The Adelaide PHN Immunisation Hub provides regular professional development opportunities for immunisation providers, including GPs, nurses, and pharmacists.
Our suite of education

An introduction to immunisation
Tailored to nurses, particularly those new to immunisation program delivery, these workshops provide an evidence-based overview to immunisation provision locally, including topics related to immunology and terminology, immunisation program and vaccine types, legislation, communication, vaccine and cold chain management, vaccine administration procedures and adverse events.
Upcoming dates for these training sessions are listed on our training and events page.

Standing Drug Orders
All Model Standing Drug Orders (SDO) have been developed by Adelaide PHN’s Immunisation Hub based on SA Health’s requirements to support general practice. General practices are responsible to review the SDO for correctness, relevance to the practice, and to update as required to meet their needs and any legal obligations.
