This series aims to support GPs and healthcare providers by enhancing their understanding and practices when it comes to providing culturally appropriate care for Indigenous communities.
The webinars focus on a range of health issues including chronic disease management, mental health, and effective communication strategies. Through these sessions, participants gain practical insights and resources that will strengtehn their ability to deliver equitable healthcare services.
The webinars also highlight the importance of integrating cultural competency into clinical practice, ensuring that healthcare delivery respects and addresses the unique needs of Aboriginal and Torres Strait Islander peoples.
Each month, new topics from the National Guide will be made available to participants to earn CPD points through self-directed learning. Each topic has a lecture with a partnered case study.
